I am a tutor who is passionate about history and is certified to work with students with special needs. I am available to tutor American history, European history (my personal favorite to teach), social studies, government, and more. I earned my degree in Social Studies Secondary Education at the University of Scranton. I've also received my certificate to teach students with disabilities from Bloomfield College. I have been tutoring and teaching since I completed my undergraduate studies. I have experience working with public school and private school students, and students with disabilities. I am now working as a history teacher, a job that I have been loving for over four years now. My teaching philosophy is that every student is unique, and therefore as a teacher it is my responsibility to find the teaching method that works best for each student's unique learning style and needs. I am a versatile tutor and I can switch up my methods if they are not proving to be successful for the student. I am dedicated to helping my students achieve success and reach their goals. When I am not teaching or tutoring I enjoy playing baseball, going bowling, and shopping at the mall.
